Rooms
The interior rooted in soft Scottish woollens, finest linens with a hint of Scotland throughout combined with a Scandinavian feel creates the simplest of luxurious memories.
Each ensuite room welcomes you with tied bundles of White Company fluffy towels with Anta throws, cushions and stoneware and stocked with Glen Lyon coffee, cafetiere, homemade lemon shortbread, wineglasses, corkscrew and whatever else you may need…
All rooms have feather and down pillows and duvets (non-allergenic also available upon request at time of booking). Each room has its own outside garden seating area.
Please see details of our local, seasonal and organic (where possible) Scottish Highland breakfast on our food page which are stocked in all our studio kitchens upon arrival. We will always strive to accommodate any allergy/dietary requests if we can.
steading 1
Our upstairs kingsize ensuite with stunning views out to the West and the wooded Weem hill. The ensuite has a large walk in shower, fresh flowers and White Company toiletries.
With the Wild Scottish Heather themed Anta throws and cushions, the Johnstons of Elgin textiles throughout, the upcycled Aberfeldy whisky lamps and our very own local Aberfeldy milled tweed chair, we hope you will soon feel at home in the luxury of Scottish interiors.
Steading 1 has its own private entrance and boot area downstairs which emulates a studio apartment with fantastic light and a modern studio kitchen ( including fridge/small freezer compartment and microwave) stocked with our seasonal Scottish Highland breakfast. We trust our breakfasts will be one of your highlights during your stay with us!
steading 2
Our twin room ensuite with rustic charming garden views on the ground floor with its own private entrance leading on to the ‘loggia’ seating area in the garden where you can enjoy your breakfast on a warm sunny morning. The ensuite also has a large walk in shower, fresh flowers and White Company toiletries.
Steading 2 is still steeped in our favourite textiles but we have strayed slightly further afield, but no less luxurious and sourced one of Donegals finest rich Irish herringbone throw and designer cushions to tone in with our unique Aberfeldy milled tweed chair to give you the warmest of welcomes.
The contemporary Farrow & Ball painted studio kitchen (including fridge/small freezer compartment and microwave) offers you everything you need for our Scottish Highland breakfast and more!
the loft
Our converted self-contained kingsize ensuite in ‘the loft’, built amongst Rowan trees, boasts stunning views to Ben Lawers and out to the West. You will find our delicious Scottish Highland breakfast ingredients in the little studio kitchen (includes a fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffees) … all you need for a wholesome breakfast whenever you want to eat, to start your day off whatever your plans!
Furnished in Anta’s unique Scottish textiles and paints, with the ensuite boasting a bath with handheld shower, White Company bundles of fluffy towels, bedlinen and toiletries you are sure to escape and get away from it all in The Loft.
the store
The latest addition, ‘the store’ is our largest luxurious kingsize ensuite with private seating to the south, edged by a privet and honeysuckle hedge. Again, we have continued our theme of Scottish Anta and Johnston's of Elgin textiles with White Company fluffy towels and toiletries.
Enjoy our Scottish Highland breakfasts from the little studio kitchen (including fridge/small freezer compartment, microwave and Nespresso coffees) … and if there’s not enough there’s always more!
In the evening, as the sun is setting, relax outside on the decking to the west of ‘the store’ with a glass in hand wrapped in a Johnston’s of Elgin blanket for those cooler nights…
